The IEEE Microwave World Leaders Conclave (IMWLC) 2026 is a landmark two-day high-impact symposium bringing together the world’s foremost pioneers in microwave, millimeter-wave, and THz technologies. Hosted by the IEEE MTT-S MGA Regional Developments Committee, India Business Committee, and IEEE Kerala Section, IMWLC 2026 takes place in the heart of God’s Own Country — Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala — at the Hyatt Regency, one of the city’s most iconic venues.
Following the resounding success of IMWLC 2025 in Bengaluru, this edition returns with a focus on defence & space electronics, indigenous semiconductor ecosystems, AI-driven RF systems, and the global MTT-S community’s priorities for the decade ahead. It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 2nd IEEE Microwave World Leaders Conclave (IMWLC) 2026, to be held at the Hyatt Regency, Trivandrum, Kerala, India, on December 12–13, 2026. Organized by the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S), with the support of the IEEE MTT-S Industry Business Council (IBC) and the IEEE Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) Committee, IMWLC 2026 will bring together global leaders from academia, industry, government, startups, and research organizations to discuss the future of microwave, RF, mmWave, terahertz, space, defense, sensing, and next-generation communication technologies.
The inaugural edition of IMWLC, held in Bengaluru, India, in 2025, was a remarkable success, attracting over 300 participants from around the world. Featuring distinguished keynote speakers, industry leaders, government agencies, startup showcases, technology exhibitions, and student activities, IMWLC established itself as a unique platform for leadership dialogue, innovation, and collaboration within the global microwave community.
Building on this success, IMWLC 2026 will feature keynote and plenary talks by internationally renowned experts, leadership forums, industry sessions, startup and innovation showcases, exhibitions, networking events, and dedicated activities for students, Young Professionals (YP), and Women in Engineering (WiE). The conclave will provide a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, foster collaborations, and explore emerging technologies that are shaping the future of wireless and microwave engineering.
